Forecasts show that Northern El Paso and Teller counties, including Monument Hill, will be affected. It is likely that snow accumulation will impact campus beginning this evening. The National Weather Service calling for heavy snow between 6 p.m. this evening until 8 a.m. Thursday morning, UCCS is closely monitoring conditions on and around campus. In the event of an early closure, every attempt will be made to provide a 2-hour notice before the campus is closed. Teams will be clearing campus roads and walkways of ice and snow. By 6 a.m. tomorrow, the university will notify faculty, staff and students about whether campus will open normally or at a delayed start.
