UCCS is closely monitoring weather conditions on and around campus and working closely with city and county partners to monitor road conditions in the region. The National Weather Service is forecasting additional snowfall today and this evening for the area.

In the event of an early closure, every attempt will be made to provide a 2-hour notice before the campus is closed. If road conditions deteriorate faster than forecasted, the university will prioritize your safety and campus may close with less notice.

Facilities Services crews have been working hard to maintain sidewalks, roads and parking lots.

If you believe weather conditions could make it difficult for you to leave campus or return home, prioritize safe travel. Students who may miss class time should work directly with their faculty member to make other arrangements. Faculty and staff who may miss work should contact their supervisors to discuss alternatives.
