For Monday, March 6, 2017 a High Wind Warning has been issued from 6:00am to 6:00pm.  Winds 35-40mph are forecast, with gusts to 55mph possible.  

Preparedness actions:
– Secure loose items outdoors, including lawn furniture and decorations
– Use extra caution if traveling on roadways perpendicular to the wind direction

There will also be a Red Flag Warning in effect from 8:00am to 7:00pm on Monday due to increased fire danger with the strong winds, low humidity, and dry fuels.

Preparedness actions:
– Use extreme caution with any ignition sources, including disposing of smoking materials in   appropriate containers
– Report any new fire starts immediately by calling 911 immediately
